Combine 250 grams soft butter with sugar and mix it together, until you get a creamy texture.
Separate the egg yolks from the white. Then, mix the white until you get the beaten egg whites.
Insert in the butter sugar mixture, the egg yolks and the orange juice and mix it together.
Combine the dry ingredient, which are: all purposed flour, vanilla sugar and the baking powder.
For the final mixture put the dry ingredient into the liquid and then fold the beaten egg whites in.
Cover the cake pan nicely with soft butter and put the cake mixture in.
Don’t forget: the cake will double it size, so make sure to fill the cake pan until its half full.
In the preheated oven (160 degrees) bake the cake for 25 to 30 minutes, depending on your oven.
Your cake is ready when you put a wooden needle in the cake and nothing sticks on it.
Once it’s finished, let it completely cool.
You may leave the cake as it is. For the chocolate lovers, you may put a chocolate topping.
Heat slowly 150 grams butter and add the chocolate. Make sure it doesn’t burn!
When you have a creamy texture, put the topping on the cake.
In case you are allergic to gluten, you may use gluten free flour.
