Mango Teriyaki Chicken


Chopped mango (fresh or frozen)
1/2 Cups
Dates (soaked in warm water for at least 2 hours)
1 Cups
Low-sodium soy sauce
1 Tablespoons
Sesame Oil
1 Tablespoons
Rice Vinegar
1 Teaspoons
1/4 Teaspoons
Garlic powder
1/4 Teaspoons

Preparation mode:

Soak the dates for at least 2 hours so soft.
Drain the dates and blend with the rest of the ingredients until smooth.

Pour the sauce into a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 10-15 minutes.

Note: can be used as a marinade or sauce for various protein sources, like seafood, chicken, beef, tofu, etc; drizzled over salads; served as a dip or condiment
