Professionally, I am a registered dietitian who shudders at the word “diet” and believes that no food is off limits. It took me a long time to realize this. Achieving a healthy balance in every facets of life is what I strive for (it’s a constant work in progress), and when it comes to food choices, salads and Cheez Its (extra toasty, please! NO joke. It’s what got me through my pregnancy and will always have a special place in my heart) are both welcomed. Food is meant to be celebrated, not make you feel deprived, which most likely will lead to bingeing. And as I’m raising this little human of mine, I’m becoming more and more passionate about raising mindful, joyous eaters who are in tune with their hunger/fullness cues. That’s also another reason why I love BLW so much!

I hope you’ll enjoy these recipes, and most importantly, my heart will be so full if they bring your entire family around the table, including the baby, of course!
